Sports Shoes – Quid Games – Storm The Castle
When Sports Shoes presented the challenge of lighting the historic ruins of Kendal Castle alongside other elements of their Quid Games night Orienteering race ARTS Projects range of battery and weatherproof fixtures were the perfect choice.
The Kendal Castle heritage site presented its own challenges being off grid, at the top of a hill and requiring everything to be free standing.
Our range of base plates and variable heights of towers partnered with battery powered waterproof fixtures enabled us bring dramatic colour and branding to the castle site.
Other battery equipment included a smoke machine and fan paired with further battery fixtures created a realisitc fire effect to bring the ‘warning beacon’ to life.
Alongside the castle ARTS Projects provided an interactive finish line, with an infra red beam triggering an effect along the final 60m of the race
